Three boats turned up for this impromptu winter adventure, myself in the Hamilton 151a Mk11, Steve Kain in his Rivercraft Sportsman and new member Ryan Phillips (remember his dad from way back?) in his newly built Lewis and trusty P76 V8. With all boats carrying a full load of people we set off from Woy Woy out through Broken Bay across the sandbar and up Patonga Creek. After what seems like an eternity we were finally through the 8 knot zone and on our way up stream.
