Hawkesbury/Grose rivers

We boat this river about twice per year when water allows... often
it is too big to boat in places. There are at least 6 such rivers like
this feeding the Hawkesbury river, however for good white water conditions
you need about 2-3 days of rain. You will notice however that the water
is muddy in colour, so it is hard to see if you lose a boat.
The J53 in the pics has been sunk in just about every white water river
around my area!! That means at least 5 times. Once on the mighty Colo
river with huge pressure waves, braking his entire jet unit clean off!
The entire population of alloy Hamiltons was on this rally.. 1x 132,
1x 151a, 1x 151a Mk11. Also Col Patterson, as mentioned in Les Bloxhams
book, was on the trip and we coaxed him out of jet boating retirement
and he had a ball !!
